Consultant Ophthalmologist. Head of the Outpatient Surgery Centre (NZOZ).
A graduate of the Medical University of Silesia in Zabrze, Class of 1996. She became an ophthalmologist consultant while working between the years 1998–2005 at the Ophthalmologist Department and Clinic of the Saint Barbara Regional Hospital No. 5 in Sosnowiec, managed by Professor Wanda Romaniuk, MD, PhD. She continued her career in 2006 at the Ophthalmology Ward of the Ophthalmologist Clinic of the Military Clinical Hospital in Krakow. A member of scientific societies, among others Polish Society of Ophthalmologists (Polskie Towarzystwo Okulistyczne, PTO) and European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) and participant in numerous conventions and internships both in Poland and abroad, including:
- 2001: participation in a humanitarian mission Africa-Luz, with Jean Louis Douenne, MD, as a founding president, in Niamey, the capital of Niger.
- 2004: surgical internship in cataract surgery at Clinique Sourdille headed by Jean Michael Bosc in Nantes, France.
In 2006 she founded and since then has been head of NZOZ „Centre de la Vision”, initially located at ul. Długosza 12 and since 2008 at ul. Sienkiewicza 34 in Krakow.
She specializes in anterior eye segment: cataract surgery and anti-glaucoma treatments. Diagnostics and treatment of glaucoma, AMD – intravitreal anti-VEGF drugs injections.
Having graduated from the medical department of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice in 1987, he started working in Ophthalmology Clinic in Katowice. He completed his basic specialist training in ophthalmology in 1992 and became a consultant in 1995. In 1997 he received a doctor’s degree in Medical Science defending the thesis on: “Usefulness of biomorphometric analysis of the optic disc and perimetry in the monitoring of open angle glaucoma treatment.” Between 2000–2005 he was clinical director of the Ophthalmology Ward of the Multi-Specialty Hospital in Gliwice.
From 1 January 2006 until 2007 he was clinical director of a ward in the Private Ophthalmology Hospital “Weiss Klinik”. He is a member of numerous scientific societies including the Polish Society of Ophthalmologists (Polskie Towarzystwo Okulistyczne, PTO), PTO Section for Intraocular Implants and Refractive Surgery, PTO Section for Glaucoma, PTO Section for Medical Information Technology, the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) and the Society of Fluorophotometry. He is an active participant in Congresses and Conferences, regularly presenting his research papers and presentations during symposia etc. He specializes in glaucoma and vitreoretinal surgeries, and glaucoma diagnostics and treatment. Moreover, Doctor M. Rzendkowski is the President of VIDE Ophthalmologist Foundation operating in Gliwice (www.vide-gliwice.pl).
Co-author of 16 publications in scientific journals: Klinika Oczna, Nowa Medycyna, Okulistyka,International Ophthalmology, Ophthalmic Measurements and Optometry, Journal Of Ophthalmology, andStudia Informatica.

Graduated from the School of Medicine at the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice (1996-2002). Attained II degree specialization in ophthalmology in 2010.
Employed at the Department and Clinic of Ophthalmology in the St Barbara Provincial Specialist Hospital No. 5 in Sosnowiec, supervised by Prof. dr hab. n. med. Wanda Romaniuk between 2003 and 2004. From 2004 to 2012 was employed at the Department and Clinic of Ophthalmology in the Independent Public Teaching Hospital in Katowice, supervised by Prof. dr hab. n. med. Ariadna Gierek-Łapińska. Worked at a department dealing with diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the retina and the vitreous humor and at a diagnosis and treatment office dealing with refractive surgery and disorders of the surface of the eye. Actively participates in meetings and training in Poland and abroad. Is a member of the Polish Society of Ophthalmology.
Cooperates with “Centre de la Vision” in Kraków since 2012. At “Centre de la Vision”, she specializes in the diagnosis of cataract, glaucoma, and disorders of the retina and treatment of AMD (intravitreal injection of anti-VEGF), laser therapy of glaucoma (SLT and IRT); she also performs eyelid surgery.
Graduate of the Medical Department of Collegium Medicum, Jagiellonian University in Krakow, class of 1999. She completed specialist training in ophthalmology in 2007 and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences in 2009.
Until 2008 she worked on the Ophthalmology Ward of the 5th Military Clinical Hospital in Krakow as a senior house officer.
Since 2007, she has been cooperating with „Centre de la Vision”. specializing in cataract, glaucoma, and retinal diseases diagnostics, and intravitreal anti-VEGF injection.

Absolwentka Wydziału Lekarskiego Collegium Medicum UJ w Krakowie – ukończyła studia medyczne w 2006r. Pracuje w Klinicznym Oddziale Okulistycznym 5 Wojskowego Szpitala Klinicznego w Krakowie na stanowisku starszego asystenta. Jest członkiem Polskiego Towarzystwa Okulistycznego. Od 2017 roku współpracuje z „Centre de la Vision” w Krakowie. Specjalizuje się w diagnostyce i leczeniu chorób siatkówki – laseroterapia siatkówki i iniekcje doszklistkowe leków anty-VEGF. Także w diagnostyce i leczeniu zaćmy, jaskry, chorób przedniego i tylnego odcinka oka, chorób i zmian aparatu ochronnego oka.
